 Kraft Heinz Mentorship Program

The Kraft Heinz Mentorship Program will offer up to 20 The First Tee participants with an opportunity to meet, mingle, and play golf at Shadow Valley Country Clubs with Kraft Heinz and Walmart Executives.

The LPGA Course Reporters Program provides up to four female First Tee participants to go behind the scenes and inside the ropes of the NWA Championship. The chosen reporters will visit the Media Center, the LPGA Fitness and Club fitting trailers, interview rules and tournament officials, attend player press conferences, visit the Golf Channel set and much more. Throughout each day you will be required to tweet about your experiences and also write a blog that will be posted on the LPGA and The First Tee websites.

Nearly 100 junior golfers from The First Tee attend the Life Skills and Leadership Academy each year. Teen participants have the opportunity to develop and hone skills to become leaders in their chapters, schools and communities while experiencing championship golf, career exploration and dorm living Learn More

PURE Insurance CHAMPIONSHIP

The newly-named PURE Insurance Championship will continue to bring together the legends of the game alongside top juniors from The First Tee, through 2020. The tournament is an official PGA TOUR Champions event, the first of its kind, in which junior golfers from The First Tee play alongside PGA TOUR Champions players as well as amateurs. They compete for the pro-junior title at legendary Pebble Beach Golf Links and Poppy Hills Golf Course. college golf prep academy

Intended for advanced players pursuing collegiate golf, 20 to 24 elite junior golfers from The First Tee chapters are selected to attend each summer. Participants receive life skills and golf instruction from The First Tee Coaches and special guest speakers to help improve their chances to compete at a higher level athletically and academically. The First Tee National Par-3 Championship

The First Tee Par-3 Championship is a 36-hole individual stroke play golf competition at The Kanawha Club in Richmond, Va. Boys and girls will play in separate categories. At the conclusion of the 36 holes a boy and girl par-3 champion will be determined. Learn More

a/b Honor Roll

The First Tee recognizes outstanding academic achievement of all participants through its A/B Honor Roll program.  Twice annually, chapters report to the home office their participants who have earned all As and/or Bs (or the equivalent) on their report cards. A Certificate of Achievement is signed by The First Tee Chief Executive Officer, Joe Louis Barrow, Jr. and distributed to those participants who earned A/B Honor Roll. At the end of each semester, participants should bring their report card to their chapter. All participants, regardless of age, are eligible for this recognition.

THE FIRST TEE SCHOLARS PROGRAM

The Scholars Program is a distinction awarded to junior golfers of The First Tee who excel in academics, leadership, character development, and chapter and community involvement. In order to be eligible for The First Tee Named Scholarships, the participant must first apply for The First Tee Scholars Program. John Deer Careers on Course Academy

The John Deere Careers on Course Academy introduces teen participants to the various careers within the golf industry. This event allows participants to explore those different golf careers by interacting with professionals in each segment: coaching, turf management, tournament operations, golf course management and golf course operations, and partaking in interactive activities that would simulate the day-to-day duties of those professions. IJGA Training Program

Through a partnership between The First Tee and the International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA), teen participants are selected to attend a week-long training at the IJGA in Hilton Head, S.C. Around 50 teens are selected each year from a pool of national candidates from chapters of The First Tee. Participants receive instruction on all aspects of the golf game from IJGA instructors, as well as: mental training, fitness training, college placement sessions, and components from The First Tee Life Skills curriculum. Coca-Cole America’s Future

Dedicated to impacting communities, The Coca-Cola Company supports The First Tee by offering five participants annually the chance to experience working at one of the largest corporations in the world. Five semifinalists are selected from an application process to spend two days in the heart of downtown Atlanta visiting the Coca-Cola campus, attending a new-hire training, meeting with executives, and taking part in interviews to determine the winner of a $5,000 scholarship. Four runners-up each receive a $1,000 scholarship. The semifinalists also attend THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola. Learn More
